My name is Donovan Decano. I am a Filipino-American filmmaker currently attending university in Los Angeles, California. In August, I will study abroad in Bonn with my school’s documentary program. Throughout the fall and winter, I will be producing a thesis documentary short. Naturally, as a Pinoy who wants to display my culture through art, I want to tell a story of the Filipino global diaspora. If you or someone you know would like to share your story with me, please feel free to reach out. I am still in the early stages of developing and researching this topic, so I would appreciate any input or suggestions.
